At £35 this book may be too pricey for some?
But,it is quite hard to get hold of these days..

Re: £35 - A Childhood at Green Hedges
I'm glad I already have a copy! Mine was ex-library and only cost about £1 from our local library a few years ago! I certainly wouldn't pay £35...but then I probably wouldn't pay over a fiver.

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

It's a good book, and if I didn't have a really good dust jacketed copy, I'd pay £35 for it.
I paid £10 for mine.

I agree its an interesting book to read, and if I didn't have a very good dust wrapper copy myself I'd definitely want a copy in my collection - every fan should read it at least once. I don't like it much and find it a very uncomfortable read, but it does give another side to the EB story.
