Books give-away

Post by Rob Houghton »

I'm clearing out a few books I don't feel I can sell - still fairly good condition - reading copies. I'm offering these free to anyone who wants them - in UK only - one book per person. 8)

Dean & Son - The Adventures of Binkle and Flip - no dust wrapper, faded on top of front cover

The Happy House Children - two books in one - Collins 1969 - yellow cover, no wrapper

Enid Blyton's Magazine annual number 1 - front end paper missing - no dust wrapper.

Enid Blyton's Story Book -

not bad condition - spine is badly bumped and torn but contents very good.

If no takers, they will be put in the recycling box, so no worries! :D

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

'Enid Blyton's Story Book' looks lovely. I would give it a good home, please?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

With pleasure, Pete :-)

Just two left now -

Dean & Son - The Adventures of Binkle and Flip - no dust wrapper, faded on top of front cover

Enid Blyton's Magazine annual number 1 - front end paper missing - no dust wrapper.

Admittedly, the two I thought I'd get rid of first have gone first! ;-)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I found one more I'll add to the list -

Tales At Bedtime - this book - but with no wrapper - just yellow boards -
