Re: Selection of books
I wouldn't have described the series as "infamous" though. "Famous" is good enough for me.

That term bothered me, too, Daisy.
But then I assumed that the person who wrote this ad text did not really know much about EB.

Re: Selection of books
I'm going to pass on those paperbacks Tony.
The same seller is selling this though, that I thought may be a bit more desirable??
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Charming-Nodd ... SwdzVXi6DA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Continuing the unpacking after a house move, I have come across this delightful mug featuring Noddy buying a pint of milk.
This was made by Bilton in the 1950s or early '60s.
It is in very good condition for its age and would certainly suit anyone collecting Enid Blyton memorabilia.

Re: Selection of books
They are quite nice, I have a few Bilton things myself amongst all the other Noddy 'junk' that I have from the 50s and 60s.
Re: Selection of books
Tony - the word 'junk' should never appear in the same sentence as Noddy.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Unless the sentence happens to be -
' Tony said - "I'm giving away all my Noddy 'junk' to members of the Society on a first come first served basis..." '
