The Enid Blyton Society

Continuation Books

Most of the 214 books in this section are either sequels or prequels to Enid Blyton series and have not been written by Enid Blyton. I have also included some one-off books which were written by Enid Blyton, but have been heavily edited to form series and also books written to accompany television series that have the same titles as the original books, whilst being completely new stories. I have only included books written in or translated into English that have been published in the UK.

These are large format comic strip books in colour based loosely on three of the original Famous Five sequels in French by Claude Voilier.
Mystery/Adventure (3 books)
These books are simply a new version of the Solve-it-yourself Mysteries, but the format is so different that I have listed them separately rather than as reprints.
Mystery/Adventure (2 books)
This book was published in German, supposedly translated by Brigitte Blobel, but as there has been no English version of it she must have actually written it.
Mystery/Adventure (1 books)
These two books were published in German, supposedly translated by Brigitte Blobel, but as there has been no English version of them she must have actually written both books.
Mystery/Adventure (2 books)
Before she met her three cousins, there was just George and of course, Timmy. These are prequels to the Famous Five series for younger readers.

A one-off addition to the original Noddy Library Series written by Enid's granddaughter, Sophie and illustrated by Robert Tyndall to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Noddy.

Mystery/Adventure (6 books)
A further adventure involving Jack, Peggy, Tom, Nora and Prince Paul, set in a remote valley in Baronia. It remains very faithful in style to the original series.

Nine of the series of Secret Seven book sequels, originally written in French and translated into English by Anthea Bell.
Mystery/Adventure (9 books)
Novelisations of the Cloud 9 Secret TV Series filmed in New Zealand, which are even further removed from the originals than the Adventure novelisations!
Mystery/Adventure (5 books)
Game books based on some of the original Find-Outers books, where the reader gets the chance to pit his or her wits against Fatty and his friends in solving the mystery.
Mystery/Adventure (4 books)
These are books written very much in Enid Blyton's style that fill in the gaps that were left in the original series. We also meet Kitty, a feisty Irish lass.
